Former Conservative Hero Paul Ryan Now Fails The Right-Wing Media's Purity Test

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2015/10/30/former-conservative-hero-paul-ryan-now-fails-th/206520

When newly-elected Speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) was picked by Mitt Romney to be his running mate in 2012, right-wing media were ecstatic. Cheered by Ryan's sterling conservative credentials, far right commentators celebrated that one of their own has been added to the ticket.
Rush Limbaugh: "I don't remember a vice presidential pick that has so energized a campaign as this choice of Paul Ryan."
Glenn Beck: "Mitt Romney has picked a solid, smart conservative for his vice-presidential running mate."
Laura Ingraham: "More than anything today, we need a man with courage and clear-thinking. Ryan has both."
Mark Levin: "Paul Ryan is an excellent VP choice."
Fast forward just three years and those same commentators are now raising doubts about Ryan, when not outright trashing him in public. Ryan's sudden sin?  Not being sufficiently conservative; not passing the purity test.
Limbaugh: "This whole Ryan thing hasn't made any sense to me from the first moment I heard about it."
Beck: "The 'fix' the republic needs is Paul Ryan? The man who never met a bailout he didn't like? A man who asked to be made king? 100% support and you can't vote him out? Your solution is MORE POWER FOR THE SPEAKER?!?!?!?"
Levin: "NOT SO FAST! Paul Ryan an amnesty advocate"
Ingraham: "From misrepresenting the outrageous Fast Track &TPP to amnesty & foreign workers, list of demands, Ryan's possibly the worst Spkr choice."
Ryan's amazing free-fall from grace seems to be part of a larger race to the radical right, not only among powerful forces with the Republican Party, which now seem to be fundamentally opposed to governing and legislating, but also within key portions of the right-wing media. There seems to be a mini-stampede underway towards an extremist destination rarely seen in mainstream American politics. And for parts of the conservative media that means now demonizing former heroes like Paul Ryan.
"Conservative talk show hosts, including Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck, have already denounced him as a dangerous moderate," according to Doyle McManus at the Los Angeles Times. "Tea party organizations are already raising money from supporters with appeals to stop any more Ryanesque budget deals."
One of the many layers of irony here is that in 2012, the right-wing media defended Ryan from Democratic claims that he was too far to the right and outside of the mainstream. Today, many conservative commentators are attacking Ryan for not being far enough to the right.
"Fox News, the most powerful right-wing media outlet in the country, has spent years praising Ryan as a 'star,' a 'genius,' and a man of 'courage,'" Media Matters noted in 2012.
Today, the insults pile high:
-"He is the wrong man at the wrong time."  [American Thinker]
-"Paul Ryan represents one of the absolute worst outcomes for conservatives. " [Conservative Review]
-"Despite his portrayal by the media as being conservative, most actual conservatives in the House know that Ryan isn't a conservative." [Breitbart]
Breitbart, in particular, has become a clearinghouse of often-inaccurate analysis regarding Ryan, such as claiming the Republican's bid for the speakership had recently collapsed. Breitbart even warned readers that Media Matters "has Paul Ryan's back," as proof the Republican cannot be trusted.
In a sign of how fractured and radical the conservative movement has become, it appears fewer and fewer media players have Ryan's back. Even though they cheered him as a savior in 2012.
are the right wing media signaling there will be no easy go for the new guy meaning even more obstruction win or lose for as long as we allow the republicans to can't say control ah occupy seats in congress and continue to say no the everything.  anyone seriously considering putting them in total charge please open your eyes and mind and take a look around and back do you really???????????

i'm also wondering will right wing media continue demeaning him throughout his time that my friends is the quickest path to gridlock and nothing continuing to get done for you,  but Pres. still has another year and executive powers locked and loaded.

note who the usual suspects are all apart of the extreme far right wing  and the republican civil war begins mark it on your calendars might be a liberal holiday one day.  don't see much of a difference he was a bald faced liar 2012 they loved him he's a bald faced liar 2015 and now an exile????

In California, Black Minds Matter. Elsewhere, black bodies … not so much

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/29/1441851/-In-California-Black-Minds-Matter-Elsewhere-black-bodies-not-so-much?detail=email

Deputy Ben Fields assaulting a student

According to Ryan Smith, executive director of the organization, "Our job as parents, community members, and educators is to do everything possible where students can learn. Threats of violence and aggression, particularly from police officers, hinders students progress, it does not support it."
In South Carolina, the Richland County Sheriff’s Department is the agency in charge of providing "school resource officers," the name given to police in schools, at Spring Valley High School where Ben Fields was employed. More than 20,000 police officers are estimated to serve as school resource officers nationally.
"Defiance" and "disturbance" are the most common reasons cited for suspensions and expulsions of black youth, pushing them out of schools and toward incarceration. In Vallejo, California, during the 2013-14 school year for example, 70 percent of black students were suspended in school for "willful defiance" while 30 percent of the students in Vallejo City Unified School District are African American, according to Education Trust-West. The New York Times reports that black students are 59 percent of the student population and 77 percent of those suspended in South Carolina's Richland County.
The Richland Two Black Parents Association has been working to implement a discipline code in the schools that removes law enforcement as the first point of contact for peaceful students who may have violated the code.
The "Black Minds Matter" report also lists as one of its recommendations "providing a broad range of health, wellness, and socio-emotional supports" to meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of black students.
The Spring Valley teenager assaulted by Fields is currently in foster care. Fields’ attack on the as-yet-unidentified student was not only traumatic to her, but to her fellow students.
Which is why looking at this incident from a health and wellness lens is also crucial. So says Mark-Anthony Johnson of Dignity and Power Now (DPN). DPN is a Los Angeles-based grassroots organization fighting for the human rights of incarcerated people, their loved ones, and communities. As part of that fight, the group is committed to ensuring that law enforcement does not rebrand itself as a service provider akin to mental health providers or school counselors.
"There’s a long history of anti-black, state-sanctioned violence of which the purpose was to not only harm somebody, but also, harm the people around them. What was lynching about? It wasn’t just about harming one person but harming a community; it was a form of psychological warfare," said Johnson.
Johnson is the director of health and wellness for DPN. He continued: "Using trauma to incapacitate people, that’s what we see in this moment. You have this police officer who throws this black child across the classroom, in front of these other children. That is sending a message to these other students: 'This is what awaits you if you are not compliant.' That is an intentional demonstration of power. That’s part of the trauma."
Black girls are six times more likely to be suspended from school than white girls and are criminalized more than other girls, according to a report released earlier this year by the African American Policy Forum, a New York-based think tank. According to her classmates, the Spring Valley High School student assaulted by Fields is said to have momentarily taken out her cell phone during class. When she would not comply with the teacher’s request to hand it over, the principal was then called, and then the school resource officer—Fields.
"When we talk about how our tax-payers dollars are spent to support students’ success, I think policing should not be on the top of that list," said Smith.
i have all positive thought as to the content i think this is something more for individual thought and collective action change is brought about by one sides indifference which defaults in favor of the other or by collective voice in unison and those ears hearing actually hearing and listening not just hearing and walking away no more then they came..

we don't need another all minds matter retort because that too is not true this dynamic and that of those minds bigot's warp and pass through generations if they cared they would not condemn their kids to a life of hate especially now that it's obvious that things are changing despite their laughing at Pres. for saying it and defying all efforts to achieve it now it's who get the last laugh laughs best.

Was Corey Jones Murdered by Cop because he Open Carried?

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/29/1442450/-Was-Corey-Jones-Murdered-by-Cop-because-he-Open-Carried?detail=email

After his car broke down on Interstate 95 and waiting several hours for a tow truck Corey Jones was shot and killed by a plainclothes officer in an unmarked car who never bothered to identify himself as a police officer simply because Corey, on his way home from a musical performance with his expensive drums packed in his SUV, brandished a gun in self-defense as a stranger stopped an approached his vehicle at 3am on the middl e of the highway.
Via Wapo.
In a statement issued Monday afternoon, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department said that officer Nouman Raja was in plainclothes in an unmarked car when he stopped to investigate what he believed to be an abandoned vehicle on an Interstate 95 exit ramp.
“As the officer exited his vehicle, he was suddenly confronted by an armed subject,” the police department said in a statement. “As a result of the confrontation, the officer discharged his firearm, resulting in the death of the subject.”
i'm posting this more of an addendum to the post earlier today the part in particular was my comment

"this is cool if our "leaders" are required to bare their souls than so should say citizen's united donors and dark money from wherever and those who of late have offered to help law enforcement to keep protesters in line like KKK and promise keepers walking around armed to the teeth it's an American right, well why is it that if people of color exercise that same right they get killed and their killers after 15 mins. of infamy move on to the next opportunity to help the police we are suppose to respect."

Reuters Tracking Poll: Clinton Leads Sanders 72%-23% Among Likely Democratic Voters

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/29/1442384/-Reuters-Tracking-Poll-Clinton-Leads-Sanders-72-23-Among-Likely-Democratic-Voters?detail=email

In the latest edition of the Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll, Hillary Clinton leads Bernie Sanders by an impressive 54%-34% among all Democrats and 58%-31% among registered Democratic voters.
But when the likely voter screen is added, her lead skyrockets to a whopping 49 points (72%-23%). That's an amazing jump of 17 points from October 21st (Biden's dropout date and Benghazi hearing eve) to October 27th.
I'd say that counts as a really, really good week.
you might remember republicans trying to find reasons why this was not a good week for Hillary problem it was their reasons,  looking more a given for her they are really going to get down in the mud now watch and maybe keep count of how many lies told and how many rebuked i'm predicting equal amounts.

After a public kiss, vacationing lesbian couple violently arrested in Hawaii by off-duty cop

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/29/1442109/-After-a-public-kiss-vacationing-lesbian-couple-violently-arrested-in-Hawaii-by-off-duty-cop?detail=email

Courtney Wilson and Taylor Guerrero press conference

Courtney Wilson and her girlfriend Taylor Guerrero were on day two of their first vacation to Hawaii when they stopped by a grocery store near Oahu's famed North Shore to pick up snacks.
While in the store, the vacationing couple say they were holding hands, being playful with each other and when Courtney kissed Taylor on the cheek, they heard a man yelling at them from across the store to stop it. The man was Honolulu police officer Bobby Harrison, who was off duty, but still in uniform.
He followed them to the check-out and threatened to arrest them. The confused women were startled by his behavior and called 911. While on the phone with the dispatcher, Officer Harrison got physical:
She said she was on the phone with dispatch when Harrison grabbed her arm. Guerrero then tried to step in.
"I got punched in the face by him," Wilson said. "I split my nose open. We were on the ground."
Both women were arrested for assaulting a police officer and their vacation turned pure nightmare. After three days in jail, the women posted bail and were released, but with the condition they could not leave Hawaii until the case was cleared. They ended up having to sleep in parks or with family friends and strangers they befriended in Hawaii.
The Honolulu Police Departments says they are investigating, but the in-store video from the grocery store has curiously disappeared. The women filed a federal lawsuit this week.
i would think they would want to get this out of the public eye as soon as possible they are sending a message that effectively should kill a good portion of their tourist trade by LGB&T'S and those that support them that this is not people tolerant spot.  the longer they allow "investigation" continue the more negative press they create.  hate laws maybe not that far fetched Hawaii is an American state subject to scotus federal laws and rights, IMO clear violation of those rights break out a civil rights lawyer too.

Marco Rubio's blatant lie about his personal finances should worry you

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/29/1442388/-Marco-Rubio-s-blatant-lie-about-his-personal-finances-should-worry-you?detail=email

U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL). REUTERS/Jason Reed
A crucial part of Marco Rubio's big debate victory came directly out of his ability to lie with conviction and an innocent look in his eye. Not just about his tax plan, but about his own personal finances.
Senator Rubio, you yourself have said that you’ve had issues. You have a lack of bookkeeping skills. You accidentally inter-mingled campaign money with your personal money. You faced foreclosure on a second home that you bought. And just last year, you liquidated a $68,000 retirement fund. That’s something that cost you thousands of dollars in taxes and penalties. In terms of all of that, it raises the question whether you have the maturity and wisdom to lead this $17 trillion economy. What do you say?
RUBIO: Well, you just – you just listed a litany of discredited attacks from Democrats and my political opponents, and I’m not gonna waste 60 seconds detailing them all.
Discredited attacks? As Florida Republican Joe Scarborough said Thursday morning:
“Marco just flat-out lied to the American people, there,” he continued. “And I was stunned that the moderators didn’t stop there and go, ‘Wait a second, these are court records. What are you talking about?’”
There are two issues here. One is the substance of the question: Rubio and his "scandal plagued"-doesn't-begin-to-describe-it friend, former Rep. David Rivera, only last summer sold the house which had at one point been in foreclosure. That is a fact, not a "discredited attack." And so on. The financial problems and mismanagement detailed in the question were accurate, so make of his personal finances what you will.
But whatever you make of Rubio's personal finances, pay attention to his lying. Because he didn't flinch, he didn't equivocate. He seemed sincere and a little wounded as he dismissed that list of true facts as "a litany of discredited attacks from Democrats and my political opponents" and said he wouldn't address them because it would "waste 60 seconds." Sincere, wounded ... and lying.
these traits do show a person not in control personally but in all fairness he would not control the purse strings like republicans have tried to inply about Pres. with their blank check cracks knowing full well they are the signatures not him any money spent they have to loosen those purse strings making them liars and complicit to all gov't spending they are the last word before the ink hits the paper.

the fact that he and they are deceivers is the real issue as to character and credibility both lacking big time not to mention the pie chart party's propensity for each faction to drive their own agenda what is it called of infighting.

for those fence walkers if you have trouble accepting that reality look around republicans all over are stepping up and calling their own party out for it's agenda little easier to swallow when insiders reveal what outsiders have been saying all a long.

Anonymous to expose 1,000 KKK members

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/27/1440999/-Anonymous-to-expose-1-000-KKK-members?detail=email

It's not hard to admire and respect Anonymous when they seek to destroy the scum of the earth. In a non-violent way, they often target those who are rarely challenged, due to others fearing retaliation. In this case, Anonymous has set its sites on shutting down the KKK/Ku Klux Klan. In the past year, Anonymous has become more aggressive and attacked KKK's main Twitter account, publishing personal information of members from TALKKK, causing some members to leave. Bye, Felicia.
In a statement released last week, Anonymous said they respect the First Amendment. The attack is for different reason:
"We are not attacking you because of what you believe in, as we fight for freedom of speech. We are attacking you because of what you do to our brothers and sisters.
In Anonymous's "Operation KKK," they now plan to release 1,000 identities from the hate group. It would seem exposing members of this malicious, racist, and sometimes murderous gang would have taken place decades ago. But then, we didn't have the same internet/social media tools we have today. KKK is one of the most vicious groups in America. To give you an idea of how powerful they can be in influencing the historical course of this country, here is an example:
Klan violence worked to suppress black voting, and campaign seasons were deadly. More than 2,000 persons were killed, wounded and otherwise injured in Louisiana within a few weeks prior to the Presidential election of November 1868. Although St. Landry Parish had a registered Republican majority of 1,071, after the murders, no Republicans voted in the fall elections. White Democrats cast the full vote of the parish for President Grant's opponent.
this is cool if our "leaders" are required to bare their souls than so should say citizen's united donors and dark money from wherever and those who of late have offered to help law enforcement to keep protesters in line like KKK and promise keepers walking around armed to the teeth it's an American right, well why is it that if people of color exercise that same right they get killed and their killers after 15 mins. of infamy move on to the next opportunity to help the police we are suppose to respect.

Anonymous let bus know who the vigilantes with a license to kill and their addresses and phone numbers, make those sheets transparent.  watch the scramble like someone turned on the lights and there's a mad scramble for the cracks they came from.

No Food Stamps Next Year For Single People Without Kids, in NC

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/28/1441593/-No-Food-Stamps-Next-Year-For-Single-People-Without-Kids-in-NC?detail=email

North Carolina folks that are single and have no children, but are eligible for and collect food stamps, will not get them next year.  Yes.  In their infinite wisdom, anyone that's single and has no children can only collect benefits for 3 months every 3 years.
You also are required to work a minimum of 20 hours a week, or be part of a work program
Newsflash NC Legislature........many people DO work 20 hours a week.  Hell, many of them work even more than that.  But they're low paying jobs.  You know, like servers that make $2 and change per hour but have to share their tips with bus boys and bartenders.  Or they're elderly.  I'm sure people that are 50 will be THRILLED to know they need to go get jobs.   Wonder if they'll demand disabled folks go get jobs too.
North Carolina ......what the hell happened?  For the love of all the poorer folks in your state, please get rid of these Republican loons.
http://myfox8.com/...
every time from now to Nov. 2016 when you hear a republican say how they are looking out for all Americans keep in mind the only Americans they recognize are themselves not their base since they are the major recipients of the food stamp program wonder when they'll recognize that when the hunger pains and noises coming from their kids stomach become deafening?????????????

thank God Jesus is nothing like republicans makes you wonder who are they really worshiping?????

Lion hunter killed by a lion during an illegal hunt

Cecil the Lion in Zimbabwe

A group of lion hunters in South Africa were apparently stalking the wrong lion:
Authorities reported a group of five men hunting without licences was attacked by the big cat at a private game farm near the Kruger.
Matome Mahlale, 24,was killed along with two dogs, who were accompanying the group.
Local police spokesman Colonel Ronel Otto said: "Three men managed to climb into a tree and another managed to escape, but the deceased and two dogs were mauled to death."
A local said: "There won't be many people feeling sorry for him. This is seen as poetic justice for the death of Cecil."
Lions one poachers goose egg seems fair to me, nature does have a way to protect itself from us.
RIP Cecil.

Poll: Carson reaches statistical tie with Trump nationwide

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/258639-poll-carson-reaches-statistical-tie-with-trump-nationwide

Ben Carson is now locked nationwide with Donald Trump in a statistical tie for the GOP’s 2016 presidential nomination, a new poll says.
Trump leads Carson by 2 points among Republicans nationwide, 29 percent to 27 percent, but the pair is well within the margin of error of 4.6 percent, according to the Reuters/Ipsos survey released Thursday.
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush ranks third, with 9 percent voter support of his own.
Sens. Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas) then respectively take fourth and fifth place in the Reuters/Ipsos poll. Rubio edges Cruz by a single point, sneaking past him with 6 percent to the Texas senator's 5 percent.
The results also found that Carson is the top pick for next year’s Republican presidential nomination when the options are narrowed to him, Bush and Trump.
Carson receives 40 percent from Republicans nationwide in that scenario.
The survey reports that most GOP voters are pessimistic about the nation’s future heading into 2016, with 83 percent believing the country is heading in the wrong direction.
A mere 10 percent said it is on the right course instead, while 7 percent said they did not know.
Reuters/Ipsos conducted its latest sampling of 584 Republicans aged 18 and older from Oct. 25-28.  It has a 4.6 percent margin of error.
Carson additionally edged past Trump in a CBS News/New York Times poll earlier this week, taking first place from the real estate tycoon for the first time in months.
i'm just wondering how Trump is really taking this i mean he's not as liberal minded as all his love rhetoric suggest now here he is after 100 days riding high on the same stage as another Black guy although he is a token BINO. i think Trump made a deal with him when he saw him rising to be each others running mate but it might not turn out as he foresaw it being second banana to the new BINO president damn a cold chill just hit me.  i have to becareful not to hurt myself ROFLMAO.

Meet The People Being Prosecuted For Voter Fraud In Kansas

http://thinkprogress.org/politics/2015/10/30/3717823/voter-fraud-cases-kansas/

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, a notorious voter suppression architect, is the only election official in the country with prosecutorial power. He secured that authority earlier this year, the latest step in his crusade to go after what he views as rampant voter fraud throughout his state.
Earlier this month, he filed his first criminal charges. The targets: three people he says committed voter fraud in the 2010 election.
Research shows that new voting restrictions enacted by states across the country prevents voters — particularly minorities and younger citizens — from casting ballots. And according to the Brennan Center for Justice, voter fraud is a non-issue and most alleged fraud in elections relates to unintentional mistakes by voters or election administrators.
But Kobach would disagree. To him, the three people he’s decided to prosecute have committed a “serious crime.” One is convicted of a felony, meaning he faces up to seven months in prison. Two others face misdemeanor charges.
he found 3 after 4 years which means nothing from 2011 till now but hey it proves his point voter fraud exist even if it's only fraudulently charging senior citizens if they get away with this travesty of law they will use it to put even more stringent voter suppression in place further stealing the voices of Black Progressive voters.  that is the republicans way of assure that voter fraud stays in their family only.  in case you wonder 3 out of how many voters times 4 years check the link

Ted Cruz: ‘Climate Change Is Not Science. It’s Religion.’

http://thinkprogress.org/climate/2015/10/30/3717795/ted-cruz-doesnt-know-the-difference-between-science-and-religion/

Sen. Ted Cruz, candidate for the highest office in the land, thinks that climate change — a phenomenon widely accepted by the scientists who study it — is a religious belief.
“Climate change is not science. It’s religion,” Cruz told Glenn Beck on Thursday.
To back up his claim, Cruz pointed to the way we talk about climate change.
“Look at the language, where they call you a denier,” he said. “Denier is not the language of science … Any good scientist is a skeptic; if he’s not, he or she should not be a scientist. But yet the language of the global warming alarmists, ‘denier’ is the language of religion, it’s heretic, you are a blasphemer.”
In fact, how we refer to self-proclaimed “climate skeptics” is not without debate. The Associated Press recently announced that skeptic is not an appropriate word for “people who don’t accept mainstream science” (the AP’s words), because skeptic suggests that there is some scientific evidence on their side.
The organization, whose style is broadly accepted within the media, dislikes the use of deniers, though, because it is too reminiscent of the phrase Holocaust deniers. It’s unclear whether Cruz also thinks that believing the Holocaust occurred is a religious belief.
Not everyone agrees with the AP — or with Cruz. “Those who are in denial of basic science, be it evolution or human-caused climate change, are in fact science deniers,” climatologist Michael Mann told ThinkProgress at the time.
checkout the rest of the article but what sticks out for me is here we have another republican perpetrating a fraud on we the people with no facts so what does he do to clinch the deal he brings in religion and there goes their base hook line and sinker.  listen out for someone claiming climate change is a religion then you'll know it really got through when the evangelicals start attacking it as trampling on their right to religious freedom and a liberal ploy to supress them.

9 ways new House Speaker Paul Ryan was a total dick as a lawmaker

http://www.rawstory.com/2015/10/9-ways-new-house-speaker-paul-ryan-has-been-a-total-dick-as-a-lawmaker/

Republican white boy cool

Now let’s take a walk down memory lane and look at just a few of the many ways in which Paul Ryan has been a total dick throughout his political career.
There is a reason why Paul Ryan has been called a “Zombie-eyed Granny Starver.” Ryan has dedicated his political life to starving the poor and making their lives as miserable as possible because they lack the gumption to become rich. One of his favorite targets is Social Security because everyone knows that particular social safety set is for losers. On more than one occasion Ryan has proposed deep cuts in Social Security benefits for widows, the elderly, and others in need due to disabilities.
That is bad enough and, taken alone, should earn him a prime seat next to Satan in Hell. But wait — there’s more. Because the congressman’s father tragically passed away when Ryan was only 16, he was able to avail himself to survivor benefits paid through Social Security in order to pay for his college education at Miami of Ohio. That means that the same people whose benefits he wants to slash paid for his education through their contributions to the system so he could graduate and become a congressman and try and shorten their lives. Other than that he seems like such a nice young man. So polite.
Paul Ryan made a great show during his response to the State of The Union of praying for fellow lawmaker Gabby Giffords after she was shot in the head in 2011. In 2012 when he was running for vice president he came out against any new laws that would restrict gun purchases. Sorry, Gabby — that was then, and this is now.
A budget submitted by Ryan would have allowed student loan interest rates to double and slashed Pell grants, while at the same time he was calling for fewer regulations on the predatory student loan industry. Did I mention he also voted to make student loans non-dischargable in bankruptcies? Asked why he was trying to make life more difficult for college goers, Ryan told a student that he worked three jobs to pay off his student loans. Get a job(s), hippie!
Speaking of which, while the economy was still recovering, Ryan voted nine times  against extending unemployment benefits between 2003 and 2012. Get a job, hippies. Again.
plenty more in article.  boy when you listen to these guys they paint a picture of a beautiful landscape but when you look back at them you see a picture of Dorian Gray and all the rot that brings.  they don't care about us it's about power and money we can only vote for them once through the door it's all for themselves

and we are the chumps they used to realize their goals non of which include fixing Washington or the gov't, spending they take it from you than campaign for 7 years against the administration that is doing our work with that money boasting of holding the purse strings they money well can you eat drink or keep warm with all the witch hunts it was spent on????????????????

and now he gets the reinforce the obstruction for another year and when they lose 2016 8 more we can stop them there are pit stops along the way called senate and congressional elections use them to your advantage not theirs.

Representatives from at least nine GOP presidential campaigns will meet on Sunday to discuss taking control of their remaining debates from the Republican National Committee, Politico reported.
The push for the meeting is being led by campaign advisors for both front-runners Ben Carson and Donald Trump, as well as for Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R), who have been limited thus far to the “undercard” debates for candidates polling below 10th place.
“I think the families need to get together here, because these debates as structured by the RNC are not helping the party,” said Carson’s campaign manager Barry Bennett, in an interview with the conservative Washington Examiner. “There’s not enough time to talk about your plans, there’s no presentation. It’s just a slugfest. All we do is change moderators. And the trendline is horrific. So I think there needs to be wholesale change here.”
Carson confirmed earlier in the day that he had asked staff members to contact other campaigns to explore changes to the debate format following heavy criticism against CNBC, which moderated Wednesday’s debate. Campaign advisors for Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee (R) and former Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) are also expected to attend Sunday’s meeting.
Graham’s campaign manager, Christian Ferry, said the purpose behind the meeting was to see what format worked best for the candidates as a group.
“I think the campaigns have a number of concerns and they have a right to talk about that amongst themselves,” Ferry said.
i really hope most see this for what it is i say most because they can fool some of them all the time,  they don't like the questions blaming the moderators for being in a gotcha mode and causing them to implode.  they started the last debate off at each others throats finger pointing and accusing how is it that asking a relevant question of a prospective wannabe leader has the mstuical power to make 10 grown professed professionals to get all hissy???????

cherry picking what questions you want to answer in their case is really dumb, the questions will be such that embellish their lies and will be rebuked just like the rest making them even more clearly the party of nothing new and old stuff archived and rebuked but keep it on the DL and sit back keep that microwave popcorn handy because the show is about to begin.  and they have the nerve to accuse others of fluff questions what do they think we vwon't notice while they walk on cottonballs??????????

last Inquisition they blamed Hillary for them making themselves into the idiots they are over 11 hours that they would not stop abusing.just like they blame Pres. for everything they have done wrecking us while he was correcting us.  they never take responsibility for what they do but take all when stealing it from Pres. or others.  if they steal this one be thankful Pres. has ackomplished so much gives them plenty to steal from.

Here are 8 lies, distortions and misrepresentations from the third Republican debate

http://www.rawstory.com/2015/10/here-are-8-lies-distortions-and-misrepresentations-from-the-third-republican-debate/

Wednesday night, there were two rounds of GOP presidential debates. First, candidates polling at around one percent nationally had a shorter debate, followed by the frontrunners in a second debate. Both debates took place in an alternate reality, where facts are made up on the spot and history doesn’t matter.
Here are some of those lies, distortions, and misrepresentations.
1. The fake “forced…socialism” of Obamacare.
Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (R-LA) said that the Democrats “forced Obamacare and socialism down our throats.” That ignores the fact that the Affordable Care Act is far from socialist; it was based on a plan implemented by Republican Mitt Romney in his state, and mirrors a proposal from the conservative Heritage Foundation. After all, Obamacare is based on expanding care through private health insurance plans. It’s worth noting that we do have socialism in our system; the Veterans Administration and Medicare, and Americans love both.
2. Retelling the myth of Ronald Reagan and the USSR.
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) claimed that the Russians wouldn’t be in Ukraine if Ronald Reagan were president. The problem is, during the entirety of Reagan’s tenure, the Russians were in Ukraine, under the auspices of the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic.
3. The U.S. has the highest corporate tax rate.
Jindal claimed the U.S. has the world’s highest corporate tax rate. On paper, the U.S. rate is actually the third-highest, and its effective tax rates—meaning what firms actually pay in practice—is among the lowest of developed countries.
just a few to get you started  how can you still believe and support these people  they are doing this because some are just to blind to notice to deaf to hear anything but the red meat rhetoric and to loud to hear the voices of reason and i wonder under informed would it make any difference there is more than enough correct info out there and still  they remain faithful to the party of stupid.

stupid is seeing the truth and hearing the truth and still believing the lies, the card carrying die hard oblivious.

Cornered Carly Fiorina turns hostile rather than explain why she lied during Wednesday’s GOP debate

Carly Fiorina (Screenshot/Media Matters)

GOP presidential candidate Carly Fiorina has once again failed to pass fact checking tests after Wednesday night’s primary debate.
CNN’s New Day host Alisyn Camerota, confronted Fiorina on Thursday with evidence a data figure she gave during the debate wasn’t accurate, and Fiorina responded rather nastily, in a video of the exchange posted by Media Matters.
During the debate, Fiorina said, “92% of the jobs lost during Barack Obama’s first term belonged to women.”
Camerota pointed out the fact checkers at the Washington Post traced that figure back to Mitt Romney’s 2012 run. Romney’s campaign used it briefly but dropped it when further data came to light showing it to be inaccurate.
Fiorina didn’t like to be told that, apparently.
“Well, first of all, it’s The Washington Post that said I wasn’t a secretary. So from my point of view, they have no credibility, honestly,” Fiorina retorted.
The Post didn’t say Fiorina was not a secretary, but instead highlighted that her privileged upbringing and elite education were left out of Fiorina’s “rags to riches, only-in-America” campaign story of being a simple secretary who would later become CEO of a tech company.
Fiorina then became testy with Camerota.
“Here’s another statistic, Alisyn, if you don’t like that one, the extreme poverty rate among women is at the highest level ever recorded,” she said. “The number of women living in poverty is at the highest level in 20 years. And every single policy that Hillary Clinton is now proposing, demonstrably, we have evidence that suggests it causes women to be fired, not to be hired. The record’s very clear on this.”
It has been a longstanding historical fact that far predates Obama’s election that women and people of color suffer higher rates of poverty than white men.
According to Time Magazine, what does exist is an extremely graphic video, procured by another anti-abortion activist Gregg Cunningham, of a fetus being extracted and placed into a metal bowl. It at times appears to move. There is no sound to the footage and Cunningham refuses to say where it came from. There is no evidence it came from Planned Parenthood. The footage shows no evidence of attempts to harvest its brain.
“Wow, Alisyn, I can’t believe we’re having this conversation, honestly,” Fiorina said. “It’s clear now, it’s very clear that Planned Parenthood is harvesting body parts. So clear that they had to announce that that they no longer take compensation for it. Honestly, this has been hashed and rehashed is there no other issue of economic import to the middle class in the United States of America that you’d like to talk about this morning?”
When Camerota suggested Fiorina’s false claims may have hurt her in the polls, Fiorina seemed to get miffed, and doubled down on insisting her false claims were true.
“Oh, well, that’s quite a theory. Well, that’s quite a theory,” she said. “All of the stats that I just quoted are true. They’re out there. And as I say, it was The Washington Post that said I wasn’t a secretary.”
and she calls Hillary a liar, not very presidential when you lose it when you get caught lying again and someone off to the right keeps handing you shovels.  imagine had Hillary gone bananas like this we'd be hearing all the female jokes and how she would be unfit to run the country typical women as viewed by republican chauvinist.

she said she was Hillary's worst nightmare and America's too,  that would be must see TV to see her and Hillary debating in general election good think Hillary has secret serv. protection.

A radio host who snuck in and copyrighted Donald Trump’s campaign slogan has agreed to transfer ownership of the phrase to the Republican frontrunner.
Radio host Bobby Estell, better known as Bobby Bones, trademarked the phrase, “Make America Great Again” — which Trump displays on his baseball caps — and offered to hand it over in exchange for a $100,000 donation to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Trump apparently agreed, because Estell posted a tweet Thursday afternoon thanking the real estate tycoon and reality TV star for his donation.
The check is described as payment for “transfer of trademark,” but the amount is whited out at Trump’s request.
“Thanks Donald Trump,” Estell tweeted. “This check goes to St Jude. Have your slogan back.”
Trump sells baseball caps bearing the slogan, along with other campaign merchandise, at his online store.
“We simply reimbursed him the money he had paid to try and register the trademark and allowed him to donate it to St. Jude’s Hospital for which Mr. Trump’s son Eric has helped raise millions of dollars toward cancer research,” said Hope Hicks, a spokeswoman for Trump.
Estell had also requested a one-on-one interview with Trump on his syndicated radio program, but it’s not clear whether the candidate agreed.
wow hard to have faith in the bluster about how good of a businessman and negotiators he is.  he wants us to believe he can best anyone out their especially foreign policy issues when he just got played by a radio host no less.  can't wait to here how he tries to spin this bad decision to not own the moniker he chooses as his mantra.  guess he thought it not worth owning since he has soooo much already.

Two-Year-Old Dies After ‘Responsible Gun Owner’ Leaves Loaded Shotgun On Table At Daycare (VIDEO)

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2015/10/28/two-year-old-dies-loaded-shotgun-babysitter-daycare-video/

Featured image credit: Citizen-Times

Two-year-old Abigail Newman died Monday, October 26, after encountering a loaded 20-gauge shotgun. Henderson County, North Carolina police say that the toddler was shot in the neck at the home of her babysitter. She was still breathing when paramedics arrived on the scene. She was transported to Mission Hospital, where she was pronounced dead about an hour after the shooting occurred.
According to police, James Fuller Stepp went hunting the night before the toddler was killed. He left the loaded shotgun on the kitchen table overnight. It was still there when he left for work the next morning.
Stepp’s wife called 911 at around 9:00 am on Monday morning, to report that a little girl had been shot. She told the emergency dispatch operator, “One of the guns was loaded on the table and I didn’t know it. A little girl was shot.” Police have not said whether there were other guns on the table, or in other parts of the home that were easy for children to access. The statement “one of the guns was loaded on the table” definitely indicates more than one gun in the house.
There were at least three other children in the home, ages seven, three and four months, when the two-year-old was shot. It’s unknown whether James Fuller Stepp or his wife, who was supposed to be watching Abigail Newman on Monday, are the parents of any of the children who were in the home.
James Fuller Stepp was arrested on Monday night and is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
According to the local officials and the press, Stepp is really just a “good guy with a gun.” It’s not his fault. This little girl’s death was just a very “tragic accident.”
“In no way are we trying to indicate … that (Stepp) was pulling the trigger,” Maj. Frank Stout of the Sheriff’s Office told the Citizen-Times.
The District Attorney, who is responsible for making sure that Stepp is convicted of the crime he is charged with, said “These folks didn’t intend for this to happen.”
The Pastor at Holly Springs Baptist Church went on record as well, saying “I believe that these are people that are very much family-oriented and well-loved and well-respected in the community.”
The narrative is that this was just a horrible accident, and no-one is really to blame.
We should really feel sorry for the Stepps. “Based upon the tragedy of this event, there are people we have not been able to speak to yet. … People are not in the condition to even speak because of their grief,” Maj. Stout told the Citizen-Times.
BULLSHIT.
So far this year 582 children under the age of 11 have died from gun-related injuries. Another 2,151 children ages 12 – 17 have also been killed by guns. Those numbers don’t include the thousands of children who survive gunshot injuries every year in the U.S. In total, almost 10,000 children under the age of 18 are injured or killed annually because of guns.
Every time a child is killed by a gun we’re told that it’s just another “tragic accident.” We shouldn’t blame anyone.
Yes, we should. We should blame the “responsible gun-owners” who are anything but responsible. We should blame the NRA and their spokespersons who encourage irresponsible gun-ownership. These are people who fight against every piece of sane gun legislation proposed, from requiring gun owners to lock up their weapons, to ensuring that guns have child safety features that could prevent these kinds of tragedies. They fight against mandatory gun safety classes, pushing to get more and more guns into the hands of people who understand the dangers less and less.
We should blame the Republican Congress and right wing politicians who take millions of dollars from the gun lobby in exchange for the sacrifice of our children to the violent, blood-thirsty, war-loving God of the Christian right.
We should blame American gun culture and the media that tells us that there’s nothing we can do to change these horrible statistics or prevent these “tragic accidents.”
President Obama’s 23-point plan for reducing the number of gun injuries and deaths in the United States is full of sensible steps that we could and should be taking to protect the public from irresponsible, uneducated, incapable, criminal and mentally ill gun owners. Why is the NRA so opposed to keeping guns out of the hands of dangerous and dysfunctional people?
Is it because they really believe that the President is going to “take everyone’s guns away?” Hell no.
Is it because they care about the rights of the American public? Do you think they cared one bit about Abigail Newman’s right to live and grow up? Did they care about the rights of the Umpqua College students? No more than they cared about the rights of the children of Sandy Hook.
It’s because they make a lot of money by selling guns to the mentally ill and convicted criminals, not to mention selling them to people who aren’t capable of passing a firearms safety course. They don’t care if the people that buy their product are educated in how to use and store it safely. They don’t care if the people who buy their product intend to use it to harm as many people as they can. They don’t care at all about reducing the number of innocent children who are killed by irresponsible and negligent gun owners. All they care about is selling as many guns as they can, to anyone with the money to buy them.
What else can we expect from an industry that makes all of money by manufacturing a product that is designed to do nothing but kill?
not sure if i just missed it but more concern for the over 21's in this tragedy than for the 2 year old victim   calls to question do all lives matter or only when they hear Black lives do???????????????
reality they will still stick to the rhetoric and doctrine that guns do no evil and our children continue to die along with their parents, uncles and aunts their siblings and mates who's zoomin who???????

Trump Gives Women Beauty Advice: Hide Your Gross, Natural Face With A Burqa (VIDEO)

Trump Gives Women Beauty Advice: Hide Your Gross, Natural Face With A Burqa (VIDEO)
Donald Trump has reminded us time and time again of how much he “cherishes”  women and would take care of them, and he seems to have taken it too far – he’s trying to give them the beauty advice they never asked for.
During a Monday morning rally in Atkinson, New Hampshire, Trump spoke out against U.S. intervention in the Middle East, which turned into the GOPer defending a Muslim woman’s right to wear a burqa. This might seem like a noble cause, if only Trump had been able to control his undeniable sexist attitudes. Instead of speaking up for a Muslim woman’s right to wear her traditional clothing, Trump offered a very different reason:
“We want it where the women over there don’t have to wear [burqas]. And then I said, ‘Oh that makes sense.’ But then I saw women interviewed and they said, ‘We want to wear them. We’ve worn them for thousands of years. Why would anybody tell us not to?’”
“Fact is, it’s easy. You don’t have to put on makeup, look how beautiful everyone looks. Wouldn’t it be easier? Right? Wouldn’t that be easy?”
Trump then made a big show of pretending to put on a burqa as if he were a Muslim woman and said, “I’m ready darling, let’s go.”
In other words, Trump wants women to hide their gross, all-natural faces behind some cloth. If only Trump would take his own advice every once in a while…
i listen to what he says and look at republican women cheering and smiling are they all suffering from Stockholm Syndrome???????????????????????????????????????????????????  there certainly is no sense of solidarity among those who oppose they are still females with all the same issues and yet it's a nose stare down and not my problem and ultimately defense of their primary oppressors. third tier stupidest.
Stockholm syndrome, or capture-bonding, is a psychological phenomenon in which hostages express empathy and sympathy and have positive feelings toward their captors, sometimes to the point of defending and identifying with the captors.

Ben Carson’s Secret Ties To Hate Group Revealed

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2015/10/28/ben-carsons-secret-ties-to-hate-group-revealed/

Ben Carson is connected to a virulent anti-gay hate group via a super PAC that has supported his Republican presidential campaign.
The 2016 Committee has raised over $5 million on the behalf of Ben Carson. At the same time, the group was listed as a conference sponsor for the World Congress of Families through their listing for a partner booth.
Speakers at the World Congress espouse a strong, anti-gay hate message:
The speakers at the international event included Theresa Okafor, who once compared the LGBT movement to Boko Haram, Archpriest Dmitri Smirnov, who refers to gay people as “homosexualists,” and Eric Teetsel, who espouses the belief that God has sent the LGBT movement to inform the world about the impending End Times.
The Southern Poverty Law Center has designated the World Congress as a hate group, citing its previous event’s speakers as evidence. They note that the World Congress is “one of the key driving forces behind the U.S. Religious Right’s global export of homophobia and sexism.”
you don't get to be president for only those you decide should be graced with your bigoted glory. nothing worse IMO than a person who comes from segregated racism and bigotry to impose that same shame on others that is what those first invaders of this continent did, fled religious suppression and tyranny only to become those that they wanted to get away from, homesick??????????????????

but what is his excuse he was not decended or part of those coming voluntarily????????????????

Cornell University Boots Creepy Fox News Goon Off Campus For Hitting On College Girls (VIDEO)

http://www.addictinginfo.org/2015/10/28/cornell-university-boots-creepy-fox-news-goon-off-campus-for-hitting-on-college-girls-video/

Bill O’Reilly’s favorite Fox News goon was thrown out on his ass by Cornell University officials for being annoying and creeping out female students.
For a hit piece on “liberal bias” on college campuses, Fox reporter Jesse Watters went to Ivy League school Cornell University without permission to question students about whether they smoke marijuana or are pro-immigration.
Watters was hoping students would say that Cornell is running a liberal indoctrination camp, apparently inspired by Republican presidential wannabe Ben Carson, who said that he would outlaw anything he considers “liberal” speech on college campuses.
“I actually have something I would use the Department of Education to do,” Carson told Glenn Beck last week. “It would be to monitor our institutions of higher education for extreme political bias and deny federal funding if it exists.”
Later in the week, Carson assured right-wing host Dab Loesh that only “liberal” speech will be banned and punished while conservative speech is allowed to run amok unchecked.
And so, Jesse Watters decided to root out this so-called “liberal” speech at Cornell University, and his presence led to his eventual ousting by Cornell officials.
First off, Fox News failed to ask Cornell if they could send a reporter to ask students questions on campus, which is the media policy of the university. Fox News even knows this since Cornell has worked with them before, but they chose to ignore the policy this time around.
Second, Watters invaded the privacy of students by asking them personal questions, which he cut together with clips from movies to make the students look stupid.
And third, he acted like a creep while questioning a female student, who rejected his advances during the interview.
After getting the boot, Watters completed his segment by ambushing students off campus. It was yet another embarrassing example that Fox News lacks journalistic ethics. Just as Watters went to an Ivy League school to try and prove that colleges are full of “liberal” bias, he also traveled to a city in Vermont to ascertain whether or not it was the most liberal city in America. After the segment aired, a high school class examined the segment to find out how many journalistic ethics Fox News broke, and let’s just say the conservative network got their asses handed to them.
“In one short segment they found examples of stereotyping, distortions, manipulation, questionable sourcing, and predetermining outcome,” the students reported.
aside from the usual bombing by the O'Reilly surrogate biatch what disturbs me the most is his assurance to Benny of the Jets that he would only target liberals and Benny's assurance that he too would seek to quash all liberal free speech and he's second in the republican polls and first in others, guess he doesn't know there are Whites kids in that category too will he continue to commit to silencing them too,  wonder how that will go over with those parents whose kids aren't following family tradition????????????????????????????

maybe he'll defend Watters because he was there hiding in a bush and heard every word well that's not out of character.

Republican Latinos come out swinging as they warn GOP

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/28/1441828/-Republican-Latinos-come-out-swinging-as-they-warn-GOP

Republican Latinos have been the brunt of attacks and discrimination by their own Party. Several distinguished Conservative Republican Latinos got together in Boulder, Colorado, the location of the next Republican Debate to vent their frustration and provide a stark warning.
"Heed our warning," said Rosario Marin, former President George W. Bush U.S. treasurer. "Don’t expect us to come to your side during the general election. You are not with us now, we will not be with you then. You don’t need our vote now, you won’t have it then. You insult us now, we will be deaf to you then. You take us for granted now, we will not recognize you then.”
It will be interesting to see if the rank and file Republicans heed the warning. One wonders how any Latino can find comfort in a Party that shows everyday that a large percentage of its members and leadership despise them.
i just have one question "republican Lations"  isn't or shouldn't that be an oxymoron????????????????

House passes budget agreement, debt ceiling hike

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/28/1441866/-House-passes-budget-agreement-debt-ceiling-hike

Screenshot of House vote on budget/debt ceiling agreement, 10/28/2015.

The House passed the budget and debt ceiling deal negotiated by outgoing Speaker John Boehner, his congressional leadership counterparts, and the White House Wednesday, in a 266-167 vote. Democrats voted unanimously for the bill, the majority of Republicans against it.
In addition to setting spending levels for the next two years, the deal takes an immediate threat off the table—the debt ceiling has to be raised by November 3 or the government risks defaulting on our debts. The House acted in time to avoid that—and take a critical hostage away from the nihilists among them—and will still be able to take Friday of this week off, presumably needing the extra time to get their Halloween costumes together. This debt ceiling will be lifted until March 2017 in this bill.
The new spending levels break the sequester caps, increasing spending overall in the next two years by $112 billion. Of that, $80 billion will be split equally between domestic and defense spending, the additional $32 billion will go into the overseas contingency fund—a sort of defense slush fund that Congress likes to raid to increase defense spending without having to come up with offsets to pay for it.
The bill was sent immediately to the Senate, where they will act on it by November 3, even with Sen. Rand Paul's (R-KY) threat to "filibuster" it, another one of his fake filibusters in which he doesn't actually stop a bill from passing, just fills up hours of debate time to create a campaign commercial and fundraising email fodder.
The deal has been touted as a solution to the twin hostages of government shutdowns and defaults. Unfortunately, it doesn't really take the threat of a shutdown completely away. While it sets spending levels, it doesn't actually do the authorizing and appropriating necessary to keep the doors open. As of now, the current continuing resolution that is funding government still runs out on December 11, and will have to be replaced or renewed. The fights to do that are huge and still remain. The House Republican majority has been happily passing appropriations bills that have noxious policy riders attached, which the White House has threatened to veto. So while the really scary threat of a debt default has been removed, the possibility of a shutdown fight still remains.
this was a necessity move this close to election they don't want the rap of being who they really are and repeating the same things that threaten the gov't and therefore the country but i see they made sure they still had access to the hostage demand of choice gov't shutdown if they don't get their way.

nothing really changed except their hopes that our opinion of them has.  the 2017 end is to avoid the negative reactions to them during a nat'l election.  if they win they can reverse like they threaten to do everything Pres. has done and when they lose they can pick up the burned out torch and try to relight it.

White Cop goes to break up black teenagers -- Guess what happens next?

Yesterday afternoon, after D.C. police officers broke up two groups of fighting teenagers, a female officer, who has been with the force for about three years and recently returned from a tour of duty in Iraq, approached the lingering crowd and told the teens to disperse.
A 17 year old senior then walked up to the officer and started playing “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” on her phone. Then she did the Nae Nae dance.
Quick -- how does the officer respond?
The officer, according to the senior, laughed and said she had far better dance moves than that.
WaPo reports:
What happened from there on the 200 block of K Street SW was a rather impressive dance-off between the police officer and the teen, and an example of positive community policing at a time when national attention is focused on discriminatory and abusive police tactics. The onlooking teens caught the dance battle on their cell phones while a song by rapper Dlow played in the background.
“Instead of us fighting, she tried to turn it around and make it something fun,” Taylor said. “I never expected cops to be that cool. There are some good cops.”
Taylor said the officer told the group that if the teens won the dance-off, they could stay. If the officer won, they would have to leave.
The two of them danced -- the student got tired -- and they both declared that they both won.
Situation defused.  A little bit of positive energy was injected into the world.

Even the National Review says Carson is lying about Mannatech

Lots of contenders for biggest lie told during tonight's debate, but I'm going to cast my vote for Ben Carson saying he had nothing to do with bogus supplements maker Mannatech.
The exchange, verbatim, courtesy of Mother Jones:
QUINTANILLA: One more question. This is a company called Mannatech, a maker of nutritional supplements, with which you had a 10-year relationship. They offered claims that they could cure autism, cancer, they paid $7 million to settle a deceptive marketing lawsuit in Texas, and yet you're involvement continued. Why?
CARSON: Well, that's easy to answer. I didn't have an involvement with them. That is total propaganda, and this is what happens in our society. Total propaganda.
I did a couple of speeches for them, I do speeches for other people. They were paid speeches. It is absolutely absurd to say that I had any kind of a relationship with them.
Do I take the product? Yes. I think it's a good product.
QUINTANILLA: To be fair, you were on the homepage of their website with the logo over your shoulder --
CARSON: If somebody put me on their homepage, they did it without my permission.
QUINTANILLA: Does that not speak to your vetting process or judgment in any way.
CARSON: No, it speaks to the fact that I don't know those --
(AUDIENCE BOOS)
Even the National Review can't let that lie pass. They've hopefully put up a video of Ben Carson endorsing the company and its products. Their conclusion:
Carson’s claim tonight that he has no relationship with the company is disingenuous horsepuckey.
LOL - I guess the National Review is now part of the "total propaganda".
Carson has said a lot of very stupid things before, but tonight he was demonstrably lying.
this guy has fallen into the pit, republicans are a White oriented group and will stay that way he was never suppose to go this far he was their point to token so they can tamp down their image of prejudice.  now that it's backfiring on them and compounded by this recent unholy alliance between him and Trump probably with a pledge to make the other VP has really set fire to the hair of republican congress,  hence his less than embraceable presence and a fierce urgency of now to rid themselves of Trump.

not sure what audience booing was for him or the question????????
