John Kasich dodges question on his rape crisis counselor gag rule, bratty kid style

Ohio Gov. John Kasich says he believes abortion should be legal in cases of rape or incest, yet he signed a bill prohibiting rape crisis counselors from telling victims that abortion is an option. That's not a contradiction he's prepared to talk about, though—and especially not if his Democratic opponent is the one doing the asking. At an endorsement meeting for the Cleveland Plain Dealer—the video of which the Plain Dealer is trying to keep from being seen by the public—both candidates were present, and Ed FitzGerald put the question directly to Kasich: "Why was it important to have a piece of legislation that literally imposed a gag rule on rape crisis counselors?"
FitzGerald even specified that "I hope you don’t just fall back on your usual kind of generic statements that you’re pro-life, or that you have sympathy for people that have gone through sexual assault," which is exactly what Kasich did. Eventually a female jumps in:

EDITOR: Governor, let me push you on that a little bit more. Because if I’m a female voter, and I’ve been raped, and I go to a rape crisis counselor, I’m not going to be able to get the information I need to make a decision. What are you trying to tell that voter?
KASICH: I’m not trying to tell them anything. The voters in this state, I think by and large, know I’m pro-life. And let me just say that what Ms. Rios was just saying — I mean, this has been a debate that’s gone on since I’ve been around politics. We have Democratic women who are fervently pro-life. We have Republican women who are not. I mean, that’s just the way it is. And so what I choose to focus on is that we can debate this all day long. But at the end of the day, I respect people that have a different position beyond that. But they need to understand my position. It’s just that simple. I’m pro-life.

"I'm not trying to tell them anything" seems like the crux of this. Ohio Gov. John Kasich is preventing rape crisis counselors from giving full information to rape victims, and he has nothing to say to anyone who might be affected by it. Nothing. You've been raped? Kasich is not interested in explaining how his policies affect you. The only information he wants out there is that he's pro-life, without any discussion of how his laws affect women who've been raped.

I told you republicans support rape and violence to women. and there lies the problem he's not trying to tell them anything or allowing counselors to tell them anything either, sounds incredibly like a war on women to me.  this guy has raked Ohio and he's in a close vote he should be tarred and feathered, the things he is doing to women not only effects them but their husbands boyfriends and families there should be universal disgust and movement to make him never more.
did I mention he's voter suppressing too, killing unions you know the usual republican thievery of your rights.

Boehner scrambles on lawsuit, but says he still plans to sue Obama for something, maybe

Rep. Joe Barton and Rep. John Boehner announce something or other.

From the moment that House Speaker John Boehner announced his lawsuit against President Obama, it was obvious that it was a principled stand against an imperial presidency on verge of becoming a dictatorship pathetic attempt to mollify loopy teapartiers who believe Republican congressional leaders are sellouts.
The fact that the lawsuit still hasn't been filed more four months after announcing it only confirms its pathetic nature, and now we're learning that it's even more pathetic yet, because Boehner can't seem to find a law firm willing to handle it, a fact that his office blames on Democrats:
“The litigation remains on track, but we are examining the possibility of forgoing outside counsel and handling the litigation directly through the House, rather than through law firms that are susceptible to political pressure from wealthy, Democratic-leaning clients,” [Boehner spokesman Kevin] Smith said

why didn't the fiscally responsible anointed ones not see that before wasting tax payer money on the 3rd worst republican dalliance first being 55 attempts at ObamaCares, 2nd the BENGHAZI, IRS, NSA homemade scandals, millions down the drain but no money for the people or the country but plenty to make the fear mongering fools of America continue doing nothing but fail at their jobs, and yet the news keeps saying they will win party of stupid must mean it represents those who apparently don't know better or just so full of red meat they have loss their minds.
That's pure baloney. The litigation never was on track, isn't on track, and Democrats aren't the reason they can't find a law firm to handle it. There are plenty of firms that don't lean Democratic and there are even firms that are Republican, but none of them are interested in handling the case because it's an obvious loser motivated by political considerations inside the House Republican Conference instead of sound legal theory.
But even if it were true that Democrats were blocking outside firms from taking the case, nothing stopped Boehner's office from handling it internally. The only reason they've taken this long is because even Boehner-land knows their case is a stinker.
that was just what they usually do they remember what they would do in their world of deception than accuse us of doing what they do, like Clinton said, "takes a lot of brass", sweeping their dirt under our carpet.  in this car they seem to have had a brass shrinkage poor Babbling Beohner,

Convicted murderer endorses Republican after appearing in Republican ad

Terry, Ashford discuss issues, solutions to Affordable Health Care Act ...

Nikko Jenkins' latest rant spills over into Terry-Ashford race - Omaha ...Convicted killer Nikko Jenkins offered his take on the race in Nebraska's 2nd Congressional District at a hearing to determine his mental status Wednesday.
Jenkins, 28, shouted "Hey you guys, vote for Lee Terry! Best Republican ever!"
The National Republican Campaign Committee had cut an ad juxtaposing Jenkins with Terrry's Democratic opponent Brad Ashford in a Willie Horton-style bid to argue that Ashford was soft on murderers, or something. Now that the actual murderer has weighed in with his own endorsement of Lee Terry, the Lee Terry campaign is running away from the whole mess.

"We're not going to comment on the ranting of a serial killer who never should have gotten out of prison in the first place. This man does not deserve one more second of publicity, which is why we refused to use his name or face in any of the ads our campaign produced."
If you think the NRCC has learned anything from this fiasco of their own making, don't worry. They haven't learned anything, ever.

so true it seems their fever pitched need to degrade and beat down opponents again makes them forget to check their own archives and every time they come back and bite them.  in this case though I would say they kept it in the family murderous crooks are supported by republican refusal to implement strong gun laws, and criminal is criminal be it murder or republican skullduggery and constitutional raping of our rights to vote oh speaking of rape they must support that too, very reluctant to sing violence against women act, legislation that gives levels to rape and if the rapist impregnates he gets visitation rights.  so it's all in the family. republican just gotta hate 'em.

Mitch McConnell is so dang likable he needed to copy and paste this dog over and over to prove it

Mitch McConnell wants voters in Kentucky to know something important: That he's likable. Really, really likable. So, to demonstrate just how authentically likable he is, his political team decided to surround him with cute, lovable dogs in his campaign's newest ad:

Screenshot from Mitch McConnell campaign ad

The only thing is, that's not a bunch of dogs: That's one or two, copy and pasted over and over. Obviously, the goal was to make Mitch seem warm, but it instead produced a weird, unnatural effect—perhaps we could call it the uncanine valley. On the bright side, at least Mitch didn't have to pay anyone to show enthusiasm: A handful of kibble is all it took.
if I lived in Kentucky I would feel insulted he is basically saying that they should like him in spite of what he wants to take away from them because dogs like him, they probably smeared him with bacon grease to get them to come near him,  he is more associated with reptiles, republican ads and campaigns never seem to be based on honesty.

Columnist for Charleston's newspaper says Mike Brown was an 'animal' who needed to be 'put down'

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/28/1339788/-Columnist-for-Charleston-s-newspaper-says-Mike-Brown-was-an-animal-who-needed-to-be-put-down?detail=email

Don Surber is a columnist for the Charleston, West Virginia, newspaper, the Daily Mail. Opining about Ferguson, Surber said:
This summer I had an epiphany as I watched packs of racists riot in Ferguson, Missouri, in support of a gigantic thug who was higher than a kite when he attacked Ferguson Police Department Officer Darren Wilson, who unfortunately had to put this animal down.
After reflecting on his statement and receiving criticism for it, Surber offered this snide retraction:
UPDATE: I made a factual error. Michael Brown was not an animal but a man. Big. Brutal. High. His death was a justifiable homicide and not a putting down.
Again, I ask, can you name one white murder victim widely ridiculed and criticized and demeaned by black people?

there was a saying back in the day, "your first mind is your right mind"  when these bigots make these racial statements they mean what they say or know it's wrong but saying it for effect, so any after the fact walk back is purely a pressure reaction and just as disingenuous,  remember not all bigots are racist but all racist are bigots that have yet to free their minds from their own plantations.

Republican conspiracy theory: Obama plans to bring Ebola patients into U.S.

Screenshot of Megan Kelly and Rep. Bob Goodlatte talking about Goodlatte's concocted theoy of Obama administration's

The American public doesn't seem to be all that worked up over Ebola, with 70 percent confident the federal government can prevent an outbreak and a majority—54 percent—saying the government is doing a good job now. Well, Republicans just can't have that. So it's off to Fox News to whip up some hysteria.
House Judiciary Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) told The Kelly File last night that there was "increasing evidence" that the government was planning to import ebola patients, (presumably for treatment and/or research?) though he did not elaborate on that evidence.
Kilmeade's not having it with this imaginary plan. "Unless we come up with a cure, which they are working on, I don’t see any way there is a single lawmaker that would support the president bringing a single infected person from West Africa back to the United States," he said Tuesday morning. "We can bring people with a contagious deadly disease with a 50 percent mortality rate to our shores? That makes the GITMO thing seem reasonable!"

who should we look at as the guilt ridden ones the republican Fox Fables storytellers or those who by now some should have figured out they are being zoomed surely the candidates that sell them the misleading information know but there has to be some semblance of intelligence that is allowing this charade to continue, so many players so much blame to go around but all fingers point outside the circle like voter fraud they never will find it until they look in their own yard.

just know everyone is saying they will sweep the country if they were convinced of that why are they still lying and cheating and trying to buy your vote those are acts of desperation not the cocky republican audacity of arrogance they show on TV.  remember they said after 2012 defeat they only need to change the way they say it, but the message and the "PRINCIPLES" formerly known as "VALUES" need not be changed, so last 6 years they have not really denied the Pres. they have been denying you, we have been paying them to cater to those who would buy and sell us. recognize

North Carolina turns blue! Early voting data deep dive (10/27 Edition)

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/28/1339821/-North-Carolina-turns-blue-Early-voting-data-deep-dive-10-27-Edition?detail=email#

North Carolina's Board of Elections provides a wealth of early-voting data in near-real time, affording a unique view into voter sentiment well in advance of election day. Those data are reproduced by many publications (for this report I have used Carolina Transparency as my raw data source), but often in a poorly rendered form that can do more to obscure than it can to provide insight.
From now through November 3rd I will be presenting daily my own re-analysis of these data, in the graph-rich format you see below. Please consider following me to make sure you receive these daily updates
Monday, 10/27:
With NC's early voting period (which began on 10/23) now half-way complete, the early news is great: despite long lines at the polls, voting is heavy, and compared to the 2010 mid-term (in which Republicans stole our state), Democrats and their traditional affinity groups (minorities and women) are strongly outpacing the voting performance of Republicans and unaffiliated voters - the latter of which can often tilt Republican.

have republicans put themselves in their own trick bag?  they kill early voting because it traditionally showed the Black voters out numbering them and White voters my have been to lazy to get out early, so reinstate and get the republican vote out but it seems they are still being outnumbered.

Graham: Remark about helping white men was joke

http://news.yahoo.com/graham-remark-helping-white-men-joke-182608380--election.html

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham's remark at a private, all-male dinner about mainly helping white men if he became president was a joke taken out of context, his campaign said Thursday.
But Graham's opponent, Democratic state Sen. Brad Hutto, said the comment shows he is a typical Republican who isn't concerned about the middle class, poor, minorities or women.
About 20 seconds of clips of Graham's speech were provided to The Associated Press, and Graham's campaign confirmed it was him speaking. CNN first reported the remarks Wednesday, less than a week before the election to decide whether Graham gets a third term in the Senate. He has outspent Hutto by a wide margin and is a big favorite to win in conservative South Carolina.
After using profanity to say the government is messed up, Graham tells the group: "If I get to be president, white men who are in male-only clubs are going to do great in my presidency."
he can claim joke all he wants to but those back room private republican gatherings are where they show their true color and it's only White, if he hope to "SERVE" SC's people why would he exclude them all except those like him also note he did not include women did you hear that ladies vote for him and you will by his own words not do well.

Graham made the remarks as part of a 10-minute speech at the Hibernian Society of Charleston at a charity event where politicians are invited to give private speeches that are serious, but also include jokes told at their expense or to poke fun at the group. Graham's campaign said his intention with the joke was to needle the historically Irish Catholic group. A recording of his entire speech to the group has not surfaced.
"Senator Graham is confident the people of South Carolina will judge him based on his record of accomplishment and will also put in its proper perspective these jokes, which were taken out of context and delivered in a private, roast-type dinner before a well-respected charity in Charleston," Graham's campaign spokesman Tate Zeigler said in a statement.
White men will judge him as their White knight, women, Blacks and Hispanics will judge him as not on their side and not worthy of their vote no matter how much money he spends if he was all that why does he have to spend so much that's a question for all of the republicans and their right wing scotus.

BREAKING: GA Court Tells 40,000 Voters To Screw Themselves

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/28/1339860/-BREAKING-GA-Court-Tells-40-000-Voters-To-Screw-Themselves?detail=email

ATLANTA, GEORGIA—On Tuesday, Judge Christopher Brasher of the Fulton County Superior Court denied a petition from civil rights advocates to force Georgia’s Secretary of State to process an estimated 40,000 voter registrations that have gone missing from the public database.
Though early voting is well underway in the state, Judge Brasher called the lawsuit “premature,” and said it was based on “merely set out suspicions and fears that the [state officials] will fail to carry out their mandatory duties.”

Let's see if I get this straight. This lawsuit is no good because "trust the state officials to do what they're supposed to do"?
Really?
That's the opinion of the court? Remain calm, all is well?
On Monday, dozens of Georgians occupied the Secretary of State’s office to demand he meet with them and explain what happened to the tens of thousands of missing registrations. At that protest, in which eight activists were arrested, former American Government teacher and civil rights lawyer Marsha Burrofsky told ThinkProgress she suspects foul play.
“When we started registering people this spring, people were saying, ‘You know, I registered six months ago, but I haven’t gotten anything yet!’ We thought that was strange,” she said. So we sat down with our list of registrations and checked, and about 20 to 20 percent were not showing up. We truly don’t know where things stand with them.”
Burrofsky said the people she registered in Dunwoody, Georgia, a more affluent and conservative community, did show up in the system, while those in more diverse and low-income communities in DeKalb County mysteriously disappeared.
“It just hadn’t occurred to me that this would be a tactic that the Secretary of State could use. I was very naive, I guess. I feel absolutely sick that this election is being stolen,” she said.
Longtime Atlanta resident Atuarra McCaslin with Moral Monday Georgia, who organized Monday’s action, summed up his feelings on the situation. “It’s an unjust thing going on, he said. “Those 40,000 now can’t participate in the voting process, even though it’s their right as citizens. The Secretary of State doesn’t really care about those 40,000 people, who are primarily people of color and youth. Those kids have been waking up politically, and now their voices are going unheard. It’s just not right.”
My initial reaction is to say "let the riots begin", but that's just anger talking.

6 days away where has the DOJ been they could try to get an injunction tens of thousands of Americans are having their voice stolen by right wing extremist and all the gov't bodies seem not to give a damn Holder too if there is a good reason if there is such a thing when one party is disenfranchising thousands of Americans and denying intentionally their right to vote and have their voices heard and no official response, instead they are literally gagging voters and they are doing it with impunity, because they know no one will stop them.

well I want to stay optimistic that either our turn out or somebody in gov't or the right wing scotus has a conscious and stop this before we have anothe4r election cycle stolen by republicans, and the equally as despicable base they support this they are anti American at best and just reprehensible at least. time to show them stereotypes are not forever.  Nov. 4th our day of rekoning

Koch brothers freak out in response to Rolling Stone expose

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/09/30/1333457/-Kochs-brothers-freak-out-in-response-to-Rolling-Stone-expose?detail=email?detail=email

Tim Dickinson's fantastic expose of the Koch brothers in the latest issue of Rolling Stone has gotten plenty of attention. For very good reason: it's a well-sourced, deep dive into the very toxic—literally toxic—business that earned the Kochs enough money to buy up an entire political party. That and the wrongful death judgement, six felony and numerous misdemeanor convictions, the tens of millions of dollars in fines, and the trading with Iran are all included in the story, well worth your time.
No one has given it more attention, it seems, than the notoriously thin-skinned Kochs. In typical Koch fashion, they don't argue the facts of Dickinson's story. They attack Dickinson, who responds here. Here's the nut of his detailed response.
when attacked in your mind wrongly don't you normally deny instead of making a seemingly guilty move of" I ou are but what am I"?
No one has given it more attention, it seems, than the notoriously thin-skinned Kochs. In typical Koch fashion, they don't argue the facts of Dickinson's story. They attack Dickinson, who responds here. Here's the nut of his detailed response.
Dickinson then provides an exhaustive, 14-point taken down of each of the Kochs' complaints about his story, including every instance in which the Kochs do not actually dispute the facts that he has reported, but attempt to obfuscate them and whine about that fact that he reported them. They also don't acknowledge that Dickinson attempted to give them the opportunity to talk to him about his story while reporting, but they refused.
The Kochs clearly do not stand up well to close scrutiny, and clearly are not prepared for it. For some reason, probably because they're richer than god, they seem to assume that they should be able to swoop into our political system and attempt to buy it without being subject to close examination.

silence can be understood as confirmation or fear of exposure or that old "i'm not going to dignify that with an answer" well you would first have your accusation one of dignity not deception and skullduggery.  it's clear that they and others in their financial strata that right wing audacity of arrogance and entitlement is why they think they can dance in make a bid buy the republican party than on to the entire gov't tomorrow the nation,

voting for republican furthers the Koch agenda and stall your advancement Nov. 4th put a sock in their smoke stacks and eliminate those they have purchased to do their bidding, it's your life and we are responsible for our brothers especially when those you vote for to do so refuse and still take your paycheck, how much longer do we get punk'd?

Rick Scott sends white supporters to harass black voters

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/25/1339199/-Rick-Scott-sends-white-supporters-to-harass-black-voters?detail=email#

What began Saturday afternoon in Fort Lauderdale as an early voting rally for Charlie Crist turned into a shouting match, featuring the former governor’s supporters squaring off against those backing his opponent Rick Scott.
Crist’s bus pulled into the parking lot of the African-American Research Library and Cultural Center at about noon Saturday and was greeted by a crowd of supporters, mostly black Democrats. Also on hand were Scott supporters, mostly white, carrying “shame on you” signs. Scott’s group included one person barking into a megaphone.
He had to harass them this weekend, because Rick Scott eliminated early voting the Sunday before election day for the sole reason of preventing black Churches from organizing poll drives.
You know, Rick Scott has spent the last four years suppressing the African-American vote, fiercely defended George Zimmerman while refusing any changes to our "Stand Your Ground" law, cut completely state support for our black colleges, refused to appoint minority judges, and even told black legislators they had a sixth-grade education.   You'd really think he's done enough to show his contempt.
But you don't know Rick.

I keep going back to why are the middle class down of that party still supporting him all the cuts and dirty deeds will enter their lives as well as ours, the biggest thing I would think of those retiring to FLA. he's cutting the net out from under them old and retired health care should be numeral uno not on the back burner or do they some how think if they vote for him it will be like Jews painting their doors with lambs blood to avoid death this time by right wing politics.

I also keep remembering Joan Walsh's book title, "what's wrong with white people",  and the trolls say????  oh and there is no vote suppression or racism in republican America.

America's Dumbest Congressman says gays getting massages in the Army will lead to terrorism

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2014/10/23/1338660/-America-s-Dumbest-Congressman-says-gays-getting-massages-in-the-Army-will-lead-to-terrorism?detail=email

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) questions U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder during a House Judiciary Committee hearing on

I know this is old but I really thought another example of how bigotry corrodes the mind and turns one into wing nut of the month, I say month because the next crazy is just round the bend.
We have not named Louie Gohmert America's Dumbest Congressman over nothing. He works hard at that title.

Rep. Louie Gohmert was an in-studio guest on the "Point Of View" radio program yesterday, where he went off on a bizarre tangent about Ancient Greece in trying to make the case that allowing gays to serve in the military "is not a good idea."
Oh dear God, Louie Gohmert is going to explain Ancient Greece to us. This is like watching one of those crash-test videos where they send the car hurdling toward a solid concrete wall at sixty miles an hour just to see what happens. He's picking up speed ...

"I've had people say, 'Hey, you know, there's nothing wrong with gays in the military. Look at the Greeks,'" he said. "Well, you know, they did have people come along who they loved that was the same sex and would give them massages before they went into battle. But you know what, it's a different kind of fighting, it's a different kind of war and if you're sitting around getting massages all day ready to go into a big, planned battle, then you're not going to last very long.
Now reaching 50 miles an hour ... 55 ... 60 ...
It's guerrilla fighting. You are going to be ultimately vulnerable to terrorism and if that's what you start doing in the military like the Greeks did ... as people have said, 'Louie, you have got to understand, you don't even know your history.' Oh yes I do. I know exactly. It's not a good idea."

where do they get their history from the evangelical book of right wing knowledge?  just when you thought you've heard the most outrageous thing they could say up pops another whack a mole.  we know the one true way to invalidate these persons is simple ask them to prove it on the spot somebody there will have a smartphone, prove it or take a phrase from Christie's book of obnoxiousness, turn around get your 15 mins. then sit down and shut up", keep in mind it won't stop them but it might reach those of their base and get them to ask themselves "what have I gotten myself into".

really with Bellevue rejects running amuck through the republican party do you really trust them?

As Gender Pay Inequality In The U.S. Persists, Fox News Still Thinks It's A "Myth"

http://mediamatters.org/blog/2014/10/29/as-gender-pay-inequality-in-the-us-persists-fox/201357

A new report that ranked the United States 65th in the world on gender pay equality discredits Fox News' continuing campaign to dismiss the gender pay gap.
According to a recently released report by the World Economic Forum examining gender equality across the world, the United States ranks 65th in their survey of 142 countries and earns a wage equality score of only 66 percent -- meaning women earn only two-thirds of what men earn for similar work. The report, which drew from nine years of data, found that there has been "only a small improvement in equality for women in the workplace" since they began surveying the issue, and predicted that women won't see full gender equality in the workplace until at least the year 2095.
Despite the persistence of pay inequality in the United States, Fox News has continuously rejected the gender wage gap as a myth and a "meme," denied its existence entirely, and falsely attempted to attribute the gap to women's personal choices and "emotional difference[s]."
Just weeks ahead of the upcoming midterm elections, the network has even downplayed pay inequality as an issue not important enough to "drive voters to the polls," but polling data shows the issue matters to women. A September poll from Gallup found that "nearly four in 10 Americans say equal pay is the top issue facing working women in the United States today." That number was even higher for working women themselves, a majority of whom cited it as the most important issue they faced.

first I would like to address the "talking point"  what is he talking about and how does his perceived notion of gender emotional difference got any thing to do with the reality of wage inequality, and what has Pres. been fighting for our female population since day one but fair wage "Lilly Ledbetter Act" that right wing just poo poo's and their water carrying trolls as well guess they don't realize those affected are their mothers, aunts, grandma's, sisters, daughters, cousins and the trolls say????

good lookin out for the folks Bilo.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, handing Kentucky Secretary of State Alison Lundergan Grimes yet another golden issue in her campaign to thwart McConnell's sixth term in the U.S. Senate during a Thursday speech at the Louisville Rotary Club:

Though he hasn’t mentioned it much on the campaign trail over the past year, McConnell specifically touted his effort to push President George W. Bush’s plans to reform Social Security in 2005, which would have set up private accounts for retirees.
“After Bush was re-elected in 2004 he wanted us to try to fix Social Security,” said McConnell. “I spent a year trying to get any Democrat in the Senate — even those most reasonable Democrat of all, Joe Lieberman – to help us.”
Another way of looking at what happened is this: Bush's scheme for private Social Security accounts was so deeply unpopular that not even Joe Lieberman, who would go on to leave the Democratic Party and endorse John McCain in 2008, could support it. It was so unpopular that Republicans, even though they controlled the White House and both chambers of Congress, couldn't push it through.
And yet here we are in 2014, with Mitch McConnell bragging about his failed effort to push it through. Of course, this is Mitch McConnell, so he stopped short of saying he'd try to do it again, instead refusing to tell Insider Louisville's Joe Sonka what his plans would be:
Insider Louisville asked McConnell after the event if he would make a push for such reforms to Social Security if he was elected Senate Majority Leader and could set the agenda, but he declined to reveal if he would do so.
“I’m not announcing what the agenda would be in advance,” said McConnell. “We’re not in the majority yet. We’ll have more to say about that later,” assumedly meaning at some point after the election in 12 days.
they have a habit of only saying vague titles as their plans, "repeal ObamaCares", "focus on jobs", but never how and during election years they say they'll tell us after the election 2012 gone still waiting on a republican plan other then Benghazi, IRS, NSA, ISIS, EBOLA investigations been there done that in some cases 55 times we also are waiting for evidence they spent millions of taxpayer money on for naught.  as for him his biggest failure was making Pres. a one termer next to not knowing what ObamaCares and KYNECT are in relation to one another but he's opposed because it bears the dreaded Obama name on it, while tens of thousands Kentuckians are just happy as fish that avoided Palin, sorry.

notice he's talking about a 9 year old rebuked Bush plan they have nothing new in their playbook.

Rep. Chaffetz demands surgeon general head Ebola efforts. Thanks to Republicans, there isn't one.

U.S. Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) (L) speaks with Representative Trey Gowdy (R-SC) (R) during

You would be forgiven for believing that there was not one member of the Republican Party that was serious about governing the nation. You would be forgiven because it is true, as Republican House member Jason Chaffetz helps demonstrate during, of course, one of his many Fox News appearances. Now that Obama has indeed appointed an "Ebola czar" as demanded, you see, it turns out that decision was completely wrong.
“Why not have the surgeon general head this up?" Chaffetz asked in a Wednesday appearance on Fox News. "I think that’s a very legitimate question. At least you have somebody who has a medical background who's been confirmed by the United States Senate.”
“It begs the question, what does the surgeon general do?" he added. "Why aren’t we empowering that person?”
An astute observer would note that the United States currently has no surgeon general. The United States has no surgeon general because the president's nominee for the position once opined that yes, getting shot by one of America's many guns would be bad for a person's health, and that was all it took for the conspiracy theorists at the NRA to have a fit, and for Jason Chaffetz's party to block the nomination until the president nominates a surgeon general who correctly reckons getting shot with one of America's many guns should be considered a nutritional supplement. Chaffetz does not know this because he is not serious about governing, and therefore appears on Fox News only to spout whatever criticism of Obama comes to mind.
But then someone told him.
Chaffetz told The Huffington Post that he was not saying that the non-existent surgeon general should be in charge of the Ebola response, but rather that the Office of the Surgeon General should be.
"Well I do know there's an acting surgeon general, I understand that. The surgeon general is also an office. It's the Office of the Surgeon General. I know there's some confusion there, but I don't think I was confused," Chaffetz said.
That would be a good save, had he not specifically been referring to, exact quote, "somebody who has a medical background who's been confirmed by the United States Senate," and "that person." Nonetheless he quickly moved on to repeat his prior complaint that the new "Ebola czar," who we had to have only because steadfastly anti-czar Republicans were beside themselves demanding Obama get a new czar, has been on the job for nigh on a day or two now and still hasn't come to calm Congressional Republicans and talk them off the ledge they've been on.

oh those crazy republicans always unarmed with facts and still claim deny debunk claim again and stick to it all in one sentence. they like to accuse Pres. of being out of touch with the merican people while they are out of touch with their own rhetoric each other and Americans and the rest of the world.  listen to their words from now till Nov. 4th then vote accordingly as to your best interest.

Could this be why Joni Ernst is afraid of the Iowa press?

Iowa Republican Senate candidate Joni Ernst, glamor portrait.

Why, oh why, has Joni Ernst been hiding from the Iowa press, refusing to do endorsement meetings with editorial boards and in-depth interviews with local television news? What topics that might come up in such interviews could the Republican Senate candidate possibly be avoiding?
Hmmm ...

Hispanic man delivers absentee ballots in Arizona: Conservatives demand he be killed

Image result for AZ hispanic delivers ballot box pictures

This may be the stupidest conservative panic to come over the transom all year. All. Year.
In the video — which was posted at Glenn Beck’s The Blaze under the headline, “Surveillance video apparently catches guy doing something at the ballot box that left Republican monitor stunned” — Ben Marine can be seen entering the lobby of the polling station in a Citizens for a Better Arizona (CBA) shirt and delivering absentee ballots he had collected. [...]
Which would be truly terrifying—if you were stupid. Because collecting sealed absentee ballots from voters and delivering them is, in Arizona, a perfectly legal GOTV effort. You can have them delivered by a dog or a parrot or Donald Trump's hair if you want, so long as they get to the polling place still sealed. Nevertheless, this video of a Hispanic volunteer delivering absentee ballots has sent conservatives into one of their patented conservative tizzies, because Oh the humanity:
But A.J. LaFaro, the chairman of the Maricopa County Republican Committee, told the Arizona Daily Independent that Marine’s behavior was suspicious, and complained that Marine was “a vulgar, disrespectful, violent thug that has no respect for our laws. I would have followed him to the parking lot to take down his tag number but I feared for my life.”
What's suspicious? Being brownish? Where was the violence? Did he crush a bug setting the box down? Is the vulgar and the thug part just because the chairman of the Maricopa County Republicans ran out of ways to say brown, or did he just not show proper deference to A.J. LaFaro when LaFaro demanded he explain his obviously suspicious brownness? My goodness, it's a wonder A.J. LaFaro didn't faint dead away in fright.
Whatever the case, this dramatic video of an ordinary community volunteer delivering ordinary absentee ballots in an ordinary way has resulted in a great tidal wave of the violent and the stupid, as conservatives demand this terrifying person be hunted down and killed for daring to deliver ballots to a polling location as part of an ordinary GOTV operation that would give every last one of them screaming public orgasms if David Koch were doing it.
whatever happened to don't shoot the messenger guess it depends on who the messenger is.
Commenters on the video’s YouTube are calling for Marine’s death. “This is a high crime, it is treason to this country and a betrayal of democracy,” one writes. “This should be a crime punishable by death.”
“I am going to find this illegal-loving scumbag and kill him,” writes another.
are they just upset because one of "THEM" didn't deliver it, or they didn't have a chance to tamper with them, really what the fuss and talk of homicidal action and that slew of racial epithets?  it's a given that AZ has a deep seated hatred of anyone not "THEM", but to make assertions like this is the epitome of racial bigotry.
I repeat: This may be the stupidest conservative freakout all damn year. James O'Keefe spends his days trying to coax people into saying things he can later use as evidence of vast voter-fraud conspiracies, but he's a damn nitwit because all you really have to do is find a video of a Hispanic guy doing a perfectly legal and reasonable thing and you'll have the whole conservative internet six feet deep in their own urine by the end of the afternoon.
God help us—what if they figure out that black people can collect absentee ballots too? What if their grandma asks them, upstanding conservatives all, to drop her ballot off at the office—will grandma be executed then and there, or will she get a trial first? Or can we instead PLEASE tone down the rampaging, city-destroying stupidity just one damn little notch, you cabbage-headed nitwits?

this last paragraph and the humor it conveys the message with brings you back to a not so nauseous place from the previous text, don't you think?
